Who is Kenai?

I started drawing seriously about 2 years ago. I am a self taught artist, I didn’t go to art school. I started drawing because I wanted to obtain the ability to draw what I see. Now I draw to give it more life. Anaïs Nin said “We write to taste life twice.” This is how I feel about drawing. It gives more life to the subject. Especially if the line work isn’t perfect. The art becomes more human, not AI. 

This was a calling to me that I really wanted to get better at. With countless trips to coffee shops to draw, art supply store runs coupled with the attitude that I could get better, I achieved a skill to draw. 

I love stories that show that with persistence you can achieve great things. I love that it is now a part of my story and if something similar calls to you, it can be a part of yours too.
